I've made the version B of the music box jumper and want to make the version A with some modifications but I'm not sure what I need to do. my girl is 6 and likes dresses with more shape - less tent. I noticed some of the older girls wearing the dress on flickr are wearing belts to slim the dress. that's the look I what I want but without a belt. would adding 4" to the bodice of a size 7 look weird? maybe more? my girl has a long and narrow torso. should I taper the sides? any suggestions appreciated :)
