I've sewn many Oliver & S patterns for my granddaughter over the last 4 years. She will be turning 5 in March and has grown out of many her Oliver & S clothes. Next came her brother who is 2.5 and now I have two new granddaughters, from my other 2 children, that are ages 5 months and a newborn. I would like to mark her outgrown clothing before I forget. Right now is a good time because I can go back through my traced patterns and figure out the size of each outfit. I'm not sure whether to make paper tags and hang them on the hangers or try to sew a tag on them? Do I mark them with the Oliver & S size or try to figure out the RTW size that the mom's are accustomed too? I guess I never thought this far ahead when I was sewing for her. From now on I will start labeling the size on the clothing.
