Marais in non- stretch woven

I'm interested in sewing the marais dress in a non stretch woven fabric. I can size up, is there anything else I would need to do? I could cut some bits on the bias, but feel this would be option rather than a requirement? I'd welcome any thoughts and ideas, and I'd love to hear if any testers used a woven. Thank you.
