Little Orphan Annie dress advice

Hi, My friend's daughter has a thing about Little Orphan Annie at the moment and has asked for an "annie dress"--not the familiar red and white one, though, the "raggedy" one. I thought this would be a great chance to work from my Building Block book, but not sure what selections to choose for this project. Does anyone have recommendations on which choices I should look at in the book?
