Little house on the prairie dress

My daughter wants a Laura Ingalla dress for her birthday. I was thinking of using the fairy tale dress with the sleeves from the book report dress. Are this two very different patterns mashable? I don't know how to draft sleeves or if the sleeves are interchangable between two different patterns. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
