Hi. I would love to make the ice cream dress for myself (it's just so gorgeous) and wondered if you have any advice on how to alter the pattern? I have read your post on how to lengthen a pattern which was really helpful but am not to sure how to alter the bust/hip/sleeve measurements. My measurements are; chest=34 inches, waist=29 inches, hips= 39.5 inches and height=61 inches (not telling you my weight!) Do I just add on the extra inches to the largest size on my pattern sheet (I have the size 5-12) or will it just make the dress shapeless? Any suggestions/tips are greatly appreciated.
