How Do I Cut Havana Top’s Placket Template?

Hello. The template for the Havana shirt placket doesn't have a clear boundary for cutting like other pattern pieces. How should I cut it? I understand that I need to place this placket template above the placket fabric in order to mark out the stitching line and center cutting line. Attached is the template that I have printed out.
