Help identify dress in Little Things to Sew.

    I the photo of the Tea Party dress for dolls the child holing the doll is wearing a green dress. My friend is looking for the pattern for that dress. Does anyone know where it came from?

    Alas, I’ve always assumed that was a Tea Collection dress. It’s cute!

    Yes, that is S modeling for that shot and, yes, the dress she’s wearing is from Tea. It’s not an Oliver + S style.

    The little flutter sleeves reminds me a lot of one of the views of Simplicity 2828. It is A-line too, but the bodice is not quite so much of an empire waist. I am no fancy seamstrest, but you can see my crack at it here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/59555784@N02/6844102509/in/photostream. The bodice looks a little like the puppet show dress with a bias neck instead of a collar…maybe you could play with that?
