Havana Shirt – What Does the Wrong Side of the Placket Look Like?

Hi. Since it's my first time sewing a placket, I would like to know what the wrong side of it looks like. First picture is the wrong side, second picture is the right side. Are the outer edges of the plackets not stitched down? UPDATE: I'm sorry I didn't know that this post was posted twice. Please help me remove the redundant post.
