So, I am planning to order fabric for a view B secret agent coat, size 4. The envelope says that 2.5 yds of fabric are needed for 58 in wide fabric, but when I do the layout given, I am coming up with only 2 yds of fabric needed. When I modify the layout to my own way, I can do it in 1.5 yds of fabric.
I am certain that I have traced the right sizes and I am sure I have all of the pattern pieces...any other ideas of what I could be missing? I don't want to over order fabric...and if I can get away with less, I will be thrilled!
