Explorer Vest

First, thank you for your lovely patterns. My question is about the explorer vest. The instructions don't give width of seam allowance for joining the lining and the outer fabric pieces. It says (Step 5 on page 102) to trim to 1/8", but it doesn't say whether you have sewn a 1/2' or a 1/4" seam. 1/2" I assume? Thank you, Dawn
