Crinoline Color

    Does the crinoline “show” such that I should worry about the tulle color? I have a stockpile from my Little Things tutu making and would rather use that if possible.

    No, the crinoline doesn’t show. It’s sandwiched between the lining and the dress, so it won’t be visible from either side unless you’re using a very sheer fabric. On S’s blue broderie dress that we showed on the blog, I used a matching tulle because the tulle does show a little bit between all those holes in the fabric, but for most dresses you won’t have that issue.

    That feels to me like a positive reason to use a sheer fabric!
