Chicarita bodice seam

I have almost finished my first Chicarita and am loving this make. Having sewn the bodice seams, I am tempted to clip the curve to help them lie flatter - should I?? The instructions don’t seem to suggest this.., I can serge them afterwards or use pinking shears (or I could just do this??) Thanks for any help :-)
