Bucket hat top not matching

Hi there, I have printed the bucket hat pattern to scale and the pieces do not match up exactly. Every time I am attaching the oval/top to the crown the oval has excess fabric. I am matching markings, sewing 1/2" on the seams and have cut pattern exact so am not sure where I am going wrong?
