Bucket hat fabric

Hi, I'd like to make the bucket hat for my baby nephew, this will be the first hat I've made! I have some lovely 'queue for the zoo' Liberty fabric to use for it but it's very light weight. Will this be ok to use or should I use fusible interlining on all of the pattern pieces?? I'd be grateful for any advice!
