Bento Tee Dress Alterations

I extended the length of the bento tee to make a dress. I also narrowed the sleeves at the side seams. 1)Is there a better way to narrow the sleeves? 2)Is it possible to do something about these drag lines and maintain the boxy look or am I asking too much?
