Beautiful Fabric

I sew primarily with quilting fabrics because that is what I have. There are also more quilt shops than fabric shops near me. Usually I have to be careful choosing fabric for garments because quilting cottons are sometimes too stiff or coarse. Last week, though, I was in my local quilt shop and came upon one with a beautiful hand and drape. It is Kaffe Fassett's Ferns in periwinkle. Oh my, this feels good! I didn't check out any of the the others, but I bought this instantly since it spoke "Garden Party" to me. Here's a progress pic. Oh, and it didn't wrinkle much after being pre-washed, either.
