Would the Badminton top still look nice, and fit correctly, if I take off the sleeve ruffles? Also is the ribbon tie necessary? or could I somehow do something else? Maybe a button? My daughter loved the scalloped skort so I ordered the pattern but she doesn't care for how girly the top is. I'm trying to plan out some modifications so she'll actually wear it. It looks like such a nice cool summer top.
