I am making the after school pants and have encountered a problem...I have retraced my pattern pieces to make sure that they are all the same size as drafted and they are. My issue is that the "side front Upper piece" after being joined with the "side front lower piece" extends a full 1/2 above the "pants front piece" when pinned together...I can trim it away but it bothers me to have to do that...has anyone else encountered this issue. I'm not a novice and I have retraced my steps several times and come up with the same issue.
