It’s time for another season of inspirational children’s clothing season 25 of Project Run and Play, and we’re proud to continue our longstanding tradition of sponsoring the competition. This season starts in mid-August. To get you in the mood, we’re looking back at some of our favorite contest entries, and the Oliver + S patterns that kickstarted them.
A Star Wars fan myself, I really love this droid-inspired Swingset Skirt that Sweeter than Cupcakes made for the competition.
Art Bella Creates used the Building Block Dress Book to create the bodice for this jaw-dropping dress as well as the gorgeous orange shirt worn underneath it.
Toya used the Fairy Tale Dress to create this ethereal frock for her daughter.
Kristin from Skirt As Top used the Sunday Brunch pattern to create both of these gorgeous jackets
From left to right:
Mie made this beautiful dress using the free Popover Dress pattern as a starting point.
The ladies at Frances Suzanne created this stunning kite dress was created using the Croquet Dress pattern, and jumping off point for this elegant, classic coat was, believe it or not, the Jump Rope Dress!
Meagan cooked up a fun vacation look using the Hide-and-Seek Dress for the cover-up and the Pinwheel Tunic for the top.
Project Run and Play includes a sew-along component so you can create your own bespoke looks at home. If you use Oliver + S patterns, don’t forget to tag us at #oliverands so we can see what you make!
