Well, my quest for the perfect fit is improving almost daily, as I make more and more mistakes…no, seriously I am finally getting g to grips wit it, I think. I’ve made some Oliver+s patterns too of course, a new bubble dress for my granddaughter Rose and teaching my daughter to sew the baby layette pattern for the new baby, Chloe. But also lots of selfish sewing for me. Made and pretty much perfected Skinny Bitch, Curvy Chick Tonic tee shirt, learning more about sewing with knits and overlooking, and now have five new tee shirts- three exactly the same boring old navy blue because that’s the fabric I had the most of. Also, yesterday I finished the Crescent skirt by Sewaholic, made it difficult for myself as cutnup a dress I sewed (Merchant and Mills Dress shirt) that looked awful on me, and had to piece lots together to get enough fabric for the skirt. Very p!eased with finished garment though and its hanging up to dry. (I am naughty and don’t ore wash so fabric rather stiff. I MUST pre-wash, I MUST press wash). And Nicole is fibbing, by the way, she IS an expert- there is nothing that woman can’t sew and she churns them out in the dozens, despite having lots of charming children and a house and farm to help run.
