Happy New Year! I don't know about you, but where I've been spending time lately it's been cold. Very cold. So cold, in fact, that on a recent visit to see relatives in Wisconsin we went ice skating. Indoors. Because it was just too cold to skate outside.

Special Pricing on our Backpack Tote Pattern
To help you restock yourinventory for the new year, we're making one of our longest-running patterns available to wholesale customers at a special price.
Through the end of the month, our perennially popular Day in the Park Backpack tote will be available at a wholesale price of $5.25. That's a discount of $2.25 on this pattern that retails for $15.00.
This versatile bag can be worn as a backpack, shoulder bag, or tote. The fully lined interior includes a zippered pocket and divided patch pocket for pencils, a cell phone, or other small items.
Originally written as a project for a sewing class at New York City's Purl Patchwork, this pattern makes a great second project for new sewers. Why not consider using it for a class at your shop?

New International Distributors
We're pleased to announce that Oliver + S patterns arenow available to shops outside the United States through two new distributors.
Contemporary Sewing Materials is now representing Oliver + S patterns in Canada and Craftica Diffusion is representing us in France.
If you are a retailer in either of those markets, you'll enjoy the convenience of ordering from an in-country supplier and will see much quicker shipping times than ordering from a supplier in the U.S. We encourage our wholesale customers in these countries to contact their local distributor to establish an account.
