difficulty levels

  • difficulty level 1

    BEGINNER: Suitable for someone who has either taken a first sewing class or has learned to sew from a book or video. Assumes familiarity with a sewing machine; understanding of how to sew a seam, thread the machine, etc.; and successful completion of a few small projects.

  • difficulty level 2

    ADVANCED BEGINNER: Suitable for someone who has sewn from a pattern before or has taken a few classes and completed several projects.

  • difficulty level 3

    INTERMEDIATE: For the experienced sewer who has made a wider variety of items and feels comfortable with a new challenge.

  • difficulty level 4

    ADVANCED: For a very experienced sewer who can handle any challenge.
