woven bias binding-hopscotch dress?

    I suspect I already know the answer to this but could I use a woven bias binding for the neckhole of the hopscotch dress? I have some cotton fabric that coordinates beautifully with the knit I used for the dress..

    You are right, you do know the answer.
    It won’t go over her head.

    I have topstitched that seam in a #4 stitch length and then had it be too firm.

    I feel your pain… but maybe you could still use the woven, just not at the neck binding? maybe some appliques or a pocket…

    Good idea! I think I will try the pockets. Either using the woven for the pocket or just for a border/binding on a knit pocket.
